Have you ever been wading through the middle of your story and wished you could ask a question? Call-a-friend?
Or click a help button for advice on what you wrote or what you'll write next?
If so, you are not alone! So many writers are looking for help with their story. We dive into social media or pour through craft books looking for that nugget to get us to the next step.
As a writer, I've been there but there is no '1-800' number to dial. Maybe you've found that friend who will take a call anytime of day to talk you off a ledge or to debate the next plot point with you. If so, count yourself blessed.
If not, there are still places you can look to for encouragement, story help and even a kick in the pants!
So, what are the are some of the ways I can help?
Writing tips coming to this blog.
I am getting back to this blog after a long break (to get trained and certified in fiction coaching). I'm ready to dive in and share what I've learned. Stay tuned.
A 'butt-in-chair' writing session.
Once a month on the first Saturday of the month you can join a group of writers all eager to make progress on their own projects. There will be dedicated time to write and also time for questions. This is great for accountability, community and booking your writing in like any other appointment. Join us at 10 am MST for a video work session for 90 minutes. Contact Jodi for an invite link.
Book Coaching.
Coaching packages for individual support on your specific story. I have coaching packages for one-on-one and group coaching to take you from where you are to where you want to go. If you want to take your writing seriously, consider this as your next step. You can book a no strings attached video or phone call to meet with me and see if coaching is a good plan for you. You can share your goals, tell me about your story and ask me questions. No risk. Coaching can help in:
managing your time
plotting your story
brainstorming story ideas
setting a revision plan
getting marketwise feedback on your story
planning publishing paths
and so much more!
It is time to stop wishing for help. Reach out and see what book coaching can do for you.
